There is a company that some in the biz would describe as “The Evil Empire” of distributors. They are very large and have the majority of the market share of wine and spirits in most US states. If you want to order the most name brand popular tequilas, bourbons, or any spirit for that matter in its category, this sale most likely would have to go through them. If you want the top selling grocery store wines in your store, this would most likely go through them.
